The world’s oldest gangsta’

Covid restrictions are less and less these days. Even Mr. Ken and I have ventured out of our house more. We are happy to be able to hike around our favorite lake, which is also where we kayak. When everything was shut down and people were at home, this place got very crowded.

We went out for a hike and it was glorious! The sun was shining and it was the perfect temperature for a brisk hike.

One of the many things I have noticed about getting older is that I don’t care what other people think. I don’t think Mr. Ken does either. As you can see by his hiking outfit, he resembles a gang member, with the black hoodie.

Not to be outdone, I very carefully put my socks over my hiking pants so that I wouldn’t get any ticks crawling up my legs. Talk about a totally dorky look, but hey, it keeps the ticks away.
