Would you want to look like this? Would you buy a product that promised you would look like this?
The marketing copy for the product says:(taken directly from the Beach Body website)
“Man Up. Commit to the Beast. And go from scrawny to brawny in 90 days or less. Get big. And get noticed. With Body Beast.”
Um, I must confess that I bought this product. Me, a petite 5′ 3″, 107 pound woman. I don’t want to look like a beast or get huge. As a matter of fact, I’m constantly watching what I eat and exercising as much as I can so that I can stay small. That being said, I love weight training and I love getting strong and toned. I’ve worked out with trainers, I’ve done P90X. Never heard of P90X? Check out the news about Paul Ryan, Romney’s Vice President running mate. He does this routine to stay in shape. I’ve done Cathe Friedrich’s Shock Training System (STS). Yes, I love doing weights.
So, even though I am not the target audience for this product, I bought it. It’s straight forward, no-nonsense weight work. Just what I love and what really works for my body.
Sometimes we must ignore the hype and just do our own thing. What about you?

I used to look like that once. But it was before you met me so you’ll have to take my word. 🙂

Hi,
Yes, that body builder definitely looks like he takes steroids. All hype aside, Body Beast is a great strength training program and it works! You do have to ignore Beachbody’s marketing of their supplements though.
