We brought our little friends, Sir Oliver, Sir Angus and Toby, along with us to Vermont. They wanted to get in on the fun.
Not to be outdone by us, they also went hiking. Here they are in our Vermont place, getting ready for their big adventure.
Toby was very concerned he might encounter a black bear while hiking in Vermont so he insisted on bringing some bear spray along. He told Sir Oliver and Sir Angus to not take it personally.

Regarding your question…I was out walking again today for over 3 hours non stop…And i was thinking to myself “I wonder what dangerous beasts i’d be facing if i were walking around the woods where Nancy & Ken live?”. As i’m in england, UK the biggest animal in the woods is a deer…But i don’t think they are going to tear my head off like a bear! 😨 🤣
So i just wondered what big animals do you have to be aware of around you and on your trips?

Your comment is too funny. As for big animals, we don’t have many where we live (in Massachusetts). Where we live, a suburb of Boston, is pretty built up so we don’t have many big animals. We do have coyotes and foxes, which are not big animals, but can be destructive. Bears, black and brown, are typically found in the woods in New Hampshire and Vermont and Maine.

We enjoyed having the guys along with us, bear spray and all! They definitely livened up our VT apartment and were a nice welcoming committee when we got back from our daily excursions!
