On Friday of our week in Vermont we visited the quaint town of Chester. It’s has all the ingredients that make up a quintessential New England town.
We enjoyed having coffee at their local cafe.
We then enjoyed lunch on the front porch of the historic Fullerton Inn in the center of town.
One shop had a large assortment of stone coasters. The one in the photo below was my favorite!
Have you ever been to Chester? It is the quintessential New England town.

It’s so interesting that a lot of towns here in the USA are named for places in the U.K. Hah, can you tell where a lot of the settlers came from? Even our favorite kayaking/hiking place of Whitehall has its roots in the U.K.

We live in the town right next to Chester and it is indeed a pretty little village, with a great fabric store!

Thanks for your comment. I did not have the chance to visit the fabric store, but I read about it in one of the local papers I picked up while in Vermont. It is on my list for next time!
