Because of all my foot angst, I have had to drastically cut back on my walking. I still prevail a little bit though. I no longer take walking for granted and I savor every step. Even when I walk the same route, there is always something new and interesting to see. I thought I would share some of the sights with you.
We have a small lake in our town and one January morning, the mist was rising from it. How cool.
The town was getting ready for New Year’s Eve with some colored balls in front of our town hall.
I love to read, so I make frequent trips to the local library.
No day would be complete without my daily trip to Trader Joe’s.
Oops, I got so involved in taking pictures, that I hit the wrong button and took a picture of myself instead.
What sights do you see as you go about your daily walks?

Hi Judy,
Thanks for your comment. Yes, this is a very nice area. It is especially fun to see the sights when walking around, instead of driving in a car.

Nice photos dear wife but you forgot to include some photos of the Dunkin Donuts in our town. (There are two of them to chose from). I think they would round off your collection nicely. π

I’ve been having foot angst too!! Mine is in the form of plantar fasciitis. I spent a week walking as little as possible, and it helped a lot.

Hi April,
I am so sorry to hear that. Plantar fasciitis is one of the most painful things. I hope it gets better.
One thing I have learned (the hard way), is to rest my feet as much as possible. Icing helps too.

Hi Jim,
So nice to hear from you. Thanks for the tip on your blog – I’m off to check it out now.
I miss seeing you guys at PFAC, I had to step down since my other projects were taking up more of my time.
I hope all is well with you. Happy blogging!
