Ode to Peeps
Peep, Peep, Peep
with the very thought, with joy do I leap.
As I eat such great candy,
I feel so fine and dandy.
Star Peeps, Heart Peeps, even Ghost Peeps for fall,
And lest I forget the greatest Peep of all,
Chick Peeps!
Such a long time between
the holidays of Easter and Halloween,
causes me great loss of sleep,
try as I might to ration my Peeps.
Yes, I love Peeps. And I am now a proud member of the Peep Fan Club. Check out their cool website, Marshmallow Peeps, which is filled with lots of Peep fun. I admit, I only eat Peeps, I don’t try to create things with them.

I totally agree! Chick peeps are my favorite and I get excited when I start seeing them in the stores because I know Easter is coming! And with Easter, comes warmer weather and no snow.

Cute poem Nancy! You are expanding your writing talents to include some poetry. While I don’t dislike Peeps I am still partial to other sugary treats such as Three Musketeer Bars. Better start stocking up on Peeps to get you through the Peep drought!

Hi Ken,
I am trying very hard to stock up on Peeps so I can get throught the loooonngg Peepless summer. Based on past experience though, I usually finish my stockpile by the end of May at the latest. Obviously I have no willpower when it comes to those Peeps. 🙂
A glimmer of hope though – I read on the Peep Fan Club website that while Peeps are not available year round in stores, you can order them online all the time.

Or come to Bethlehem, where Peeps are manufactured, and visit one of only THREE Peeps stores in the US. Also, Peeps factory 1 mile from our house. Frequent Peepmobile sightings, possible photo shoot with same during visit! Sold yet? You are a study in contradictions, my friend — insanity fitness nut AND Peeps fanatic! Interesting! 🙂

As I was perusing the Peeps Fan Club website, I saw that the Peep place is in Bethlehem. So now I have many, many reasons to visit you. What? Three Peeps Stores? Photo opportunities? And a Peepmobile? Be still my heart 🙂
