There were so many pretty and colorful flowers along my walks. Summers in Vermont must be very conducive to growing them. I have a feeling that the bugs, like Japanese beetles and the like, don’t make it this far North. Hah, if we tried to grow any of these flowers in Massachusetts, the bugs would have a field day and probably destroy them overnight.
Here is a small sampling of the beautiful flowers I saw on my walks. All of these beauties were seen in gardens around houses.
Several bright yellow flowers.
And several pink and red flowers.
This pretty and colorful window box of flowers stood out too.
What flowers have you seen on your walks?

Such lovely distractions!!! Your walks must be extremely entertaining!
As I run on a green corridor, there aren’t many flowers to be viewed. But when I do run through neighbourhoods with gardens, many people favour frangipani (plumeria) and hibiscus. I also like visiting community gardens to view what folks are growing. Every now and then I spot squash flowers or blue pea flowers.
