Montpelier VT – Live Animal Scenes

After a brief respite to post some pretty Easter pictures, I’m back to writing about my favorite state, Vermont.

Yes, Montpelier, Vermont is the state capital, but even so, I saw some interesting live animals on my walks around the local neighborhoods.

Yes, I know deer are everywhere, even in the built-up suburb where I live, but it was fun to see these creatures enjoying some summer sunshine in a pretty Vermont field, right outside of downtown Montpelier.

Just one block outside of the downtown, I came across these chickens. They embody the meaning of “free range,” since they were roaming around their yard, which didn’t have a fence. 🙂
