The tree has been put up, the Christmas cards written and the Christmas meal planned. Now it is time to relax and enjoy the season. It is just so nice and relaxing to sit in our family room on these cold, dark nights and look at the pretty Christmas tree.
Mr. Ken also has the Christmas tree lights on a timer so that the lit tree greets me every morning when I come downstairs. It makes it easier to get up on these cold mornings.
I always sit looking at the tree and reflect on all I have to be grateful for.
Are you ready for Christmas?

It’s so nice to look at the lighted tree on these dark nights and in the early morning hours!

Hey Mr. Ken,
Thanks to you for setting up our beautiful tree and for stringing the lights!

It’s been a sine wave of a year. The positive– rescuing a 2 year old cat that was abandoned by his moving-away owners. He became the joy of our life for 10 months. The downside– he was fatally hit by a speeding car in our residential neighborhood. The outpouring of sympathies from our neighbors has helped. But the memories of our special “family” member will take time for us to heal wholly. Have a wonderful holiday, Nancy.

Hey Art – thanks for stopping by. I am so, so sorry to hear about your cat. Our pets are such a part of our families, it is hard to let go. I hope your neighbors continue to provide you with love and support.
Take care,
Nancy
