Life with a car guy

So dear Mr. Ken is a car guy, above all else. I am glad for that since I am not. He even looks forward to taking my car to get the oil changed. I think that may be because there is a Dunkin Donuts on the way to the oil change place. 🙂

Since I have been basically a hermit for the past year, due to COVID, I haven’t driven that much. However, according the car guy, one should change the oil at least once a year. So it was that time and Mr. Ken dutifully went off to get my oil changed.

I hear him drive in the driveway and expect to hear him come into the house. Yet, nothing. I look out and this is what I see:

Yep, that is a toothbrush that Mr. Ken is holding. I had to ask him what on earth he was doing. He replied, “I am cleaning the drive shaft.” (Or something to that effect.)

Thank heavens for car guys!
