Blame it on COVID

Covid confusion

This Pandemic stuff is getting old. Boy is that an understatement! I try to keep things in perspective by being thankful that:

  • My family and loved ones are healthy.
  • Financially, we are doing okay.
  • I can get out for walks every day.

All that being said, Mr. Ken and I find that we are more easily confused these days. This past weekend, I awoke on Saturday morning and it took me at least 15 minutes to remember what day of the week it was.

The other day, Mr. Ken offered to take my car to get the oil changed. I am so happy that Mr. Ken is a car guy, because if it were up to me, the oil would only be changed every few years. So off he goes, armed with Chlorox wipes and a discount coupon.

That is all good, except he took off in his car, not mine. As soon as I realized what happened, I tried calling and texting him, but he turns his phone off while he is driving like the good citizen. Fifteen minutes later, he pulls into our driveway and gets out of the car with a sheepish expression on his face. I, of course, couldn’t stop laughing.

So what confusion have you experienced these days?
