Even I as an eternal optimist, am struggling to find hope in these dark times, but I have.
Here are a few bright spots for our dark days.
1. Neighbor helping neighbor.
I belong to my town’s Facebook group. Our local food pantry had posted a need for food, asking folks to go to the Amazon page and buy food. Well, within 24 hours, the need was met! We have started a “Helping Hands Circle” where folks post offering help and food to those in need.
2. Uplifting messages.
Our town even got the kids involved. Sunday, March 22 was designated “chalk” day. Kids were encouraged to draw on their driveways. Here are some of the messages:
3. Finding the positive.
4. Changing your mindset.
You may have heard the expression, “You can’t always change your circumstances, but you CAN change how you think about those circumstances.
5. Inspiring words.
For me, it is reading the Bible. This phrase below really spoke to me. For others, it may be other inspiring literature.
Scripture quote is from Faithful Workouts.
What are you doing to find hope today?
