I know you all have been sitting on the edge of your seats, anxiously awaiting the answer to the question posed last week, Another what is it?
Well, here it is! This is a temperature and pressure gauge for our gas furnace. What???? Who knew. Last week, while I was busy browsing the internet, er working, Mr. Ken goes running by me, mumbling something about pictures. He disappears down into the basement for a while and then comes back upstairs and breathes a sigh of relief. Next thing I know, this picture appears in my inbox.
Mr. Ken is unhappy when things aren’t working correctly. That is why we make such a good couple since I would never in a million years have realized that there even was a temperature and pressure gauge on the gas furnace, much less knew if it was or was not working.
Mr. Ken promptly sends the picture to the service guy and proceeds to have a very long conversation. All I could hear was things like, “condensation” and “multiple failures.” Oh dear, this sounds serious.
All should be well later today when the service guy comes to fix the thingie. Who knows, maybe Mr. Ken will send me a picture of the new temperature and pressure gauge! š
P.S. You may have noticed that the featured image has nothing to do with the pressure gauge. I find chipmunks much cuter and much more interesting than pressure gauges. š

Opposites attract and all that. Handy to have a Mr.Ken type, I must say!

Hello dear Nancy š
So that’s what it is ! Careful, Mr Ken may replace it with a second hand submarine nuclear reactor offered on ebay. š
Keep warm !

The leaking gauge is now replaced! I hope it lasts longer than the original one.

Well Mr. Ken,
If it doesn’t, another picture will be forthcoming, won’t it? š
