Day by day my foot is getting better and healing. I am now able to hobble around without crutches and without much pain. I am still trying to be a model patient though and not overdo things. I am excited to report I have found a good setup in my exercise room.
Note the cool new tv. This is an early Christmas present from Mr. Ken. Not only is the picture bigger than my old tv, but it is a lot clearer. It’s as though the exercise instructor is right in the room with me. This can be a good thing or not, especially when they say, “I can see you – work harder!”
Note the laptop. I have been able to access my Barre 3 online workouts here. There is nothing like a deceptively gentle Barre 3 workout to get the blood moving.
And last, but not least, my seat. I can’t easily stand without losing my balance, so this is a perfect way to workout in safety.
I feel so good after I have exercised, especially after having having to sit quietly this week.
What do you do when you are determined to find a way around a hardship?
Thank you to everyone for your good wishes and prayers. Every day I am getting stronger (and learning more patience).
Ralph

Yes Bea, it sure does! I keep telling myself that this change in routine is good for my body too, since I’m mixing things up. š

Hi Nancy! Great to hear you’re finding creative ways to get things done….i hope you are resting too, but i’m not nagging, lol. š
As you probably know i have to find work-arounds for pretty much everything i do, even a short walk into town is a huge adventure for me, even typing this comment too, lol. š
loving hearing you progress, your loving brother, Steve.

Hey Professor!
So nice to hear from you. I have missed you and your funny blog.
As for my foot, I had foot surgery on December 2 and have been down for the count, so to speak. I am getting stronger every day, but still chomping at the bit since I can’t be as active as I would like. It is a lesson in patience, that’s for sure.
How are you?
