No Thanksgiving post would be complete without a picture of Thanksgiving chipmunks! π
I am going to attempt to bake two pumpkin pies this year. The last time I attempted to bake pies, I managed to almost set the stove on fire. And this was with my dear mother supervising. I’m on my own this so we shall see how the pies turn out. . .
Wishing all my blogging friends who celebrate Thanksgiving a wonderful holiday filled with good food, good company and good cheer. For those who don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you all a wonderful day!
Now is the time to pause and reflect on all of our blessings. I am so grateful for:
* Mr. Ken, who has been my rock during the most difficult year
* My cousins Kass and Lib, who are like sisters to me
* My friends
* My health
* My volunteer work
* Our chipmunks! π
What are you grateful for this year?

I am grateful that since we moved to Massachusetts in 2008, I have not once prepared a turkey. This is because my best friend always invites me to her house. She knows I do not like handling raw meat!

Hi Laura,
Thanks for your comment. I’m with you on never preparing a turkey. Luckily, my husband likes to do that. I think he is afraid if it were up to me, we’d have tofu turkey or something!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

With all the turmoil here and elsewhere, I’ve been making a point of making sure I look at the sky at sunrise and sunset, when the whole sky takes on fantastic healing colours π

Hi Bea,
There is something so calming about sunrises and sunsets, even if chaos reigns around us.
