Since I started a new consulting project, I haven’t had much time to think about blogging. We just had our front side steps redone and they look great. And, more importantly, one of our “pet” chipmunks, named Peep, has given them his stamp of approval.
Note the little white object in the lower right corner of the bottom step. That is Peep’s water dish. Actually, it is the top of a peanut butter jar, but it works quite well for a water dish, don’t you think?

Very good steps Nancy I see you and Mr Ken have been busy. A chipmunk name Peep now that is really cool. I have missed you but I have been busy too. Hope you have a great rest of the week. ❤ Kat

Hello dear Nancy.
Lovely steps ! Wow, Peeps is SO small ! Has he got an elevator as the steps are so HIGH for him ?
Take care my friend ❤

Hello dear friend Ralph,
Yes, Peep is quite the tiny little creature, in spite of all the food he seems to gather. I think he just hoards the food and doesn’t eat it.
As for the height of the steps, that little guy can jump quite high, especially if there is food involved!

Peep has no trouble hopping up to the top step. When they were just half finished he seemed to love hopping all around the framing, thinking it was his latest toy! He is out there every morning waiting for his first of many breakfasts!

Hi Mr. Ken,
Yes, “your” chipmunk Peep, anxiously awaits you every morning. Funny thing is, I don’t get quite the same welcome from him. I think it’s because I make him do some boot camp before I feed him. 🙂
