My oh my, spring has finally sprung in New England. Back in February, when we had about 8 feet of snow on the ground and a blizzard coming at us every other day, I never thought I would see trees blooming. Yet, here it is. This is our red bud tree. It is so pretty, and interesting to look at. The flowers completely cover the branches. The flowers even bloom along the trunk.
Okay, so it is almost June 1 and summer is upon us, but that’s how spring in New England works.
Nothing deep this week, just pure admiration and gratitude for the lovely spring weather. Enjoy!
Photograph is from Mr. Ken, photographer extraordinaire. 🙂

Hi Andy,
Yes, it sure is nice to just walk outdoors and enjoy the sunshine, without having to spend a half an hour getting dressed for the cold weather! 🙂

I think this spring is the most colorful one we’ve had in many years. This is a little surprising given the brutal winter we just experienced. It is SO nice to see all of the spring colors including our nice red bud tree.

Hi Mr. Ken,
Yes, all the flowers and trees seem extra lush this spring, don’t they?

Dear friend Ralph,
Well, the spring didn’t get too rusty, but I wonder about my kayaking skills. We hope to get out on the kayaks later this week.

I am so glad you enjoyed the post. I have my dear husband Ken to thank for the photo. If I had tried to take this picture, all you would see is dirt and grass! 🙂
