How I spent my September

how I spent my september
A slightly different twist than “How I spent my summer vacation.” Well you all know how I spent my summer – kayaking and eating Blizzards from the Dairy Queen. Now it’s time to buckle down and get serious.

Fall is my favorite time of year; I have so much energy because of the clear, crisp days. I attended several conferences, the biggest on was the Inbound Marketing / Future M Conference.

Talk about big! There were 10,000 people at this conference; it was held at the Boston Convention Center. I love being out and about with people, but this was overwhelming.

The big themes for the conference:

People
Content
Digital Done Right
Data
Future Trends.

I am looking forward to sharing what I learned with all of you. I will try to make it entertaining as well.

The lessons I learned from this fabulous experience:

1. Being in a new environment is so energizing.

2. Taking on new challenges is food for the soul.

3. Learning new things is what keeps me going.

4. Putting it all together is challenging, but fun. It reminds me of my school days, which I loved.

So what did you do this September?
