I’ll admit this has nothing to do with technology or marketing. It is related to my life, so it still fits in with my blog strategy. Plus, it fulfills my committment for doing a weekly blog post. 🙂
This is a light-hearted look at my favorite summer things.
1. Chipmunks.
I adore these cute little creatures. We have few tame ones that we feed. I’ve been known to peel the grapes before I set them out for these guys. am especially excited since I’m finally figured out how to put them in a blog post.
2. Fresh fruit.
It is so much easier to maintain healthy eating when there’s lots of yummy, fresh fruit around. Peaches, blueberries and cherries are my favorites. Dare I say that I love these fruits even more than M & M’s, my favorite candy?
3. Lots of sunshine.
It is so much easier to bound out of bed at the crack of dawn when it’s warm and the sun is streaming in the window. Only a true morning person can be excited about getting up at 4:30 am!
4. Kayaking!
Since a lot of my recent blog posts have been about kayaking, need I say more?

My favorite summer activity is going to the Dairy Queen and buying a Mocha Chip Blizzard! Usually my wife eats only a few spoonfuls of it but sometimes she eats MORE than a few spoonfuls! 🙂

Hi Ken – The Cappuccino Heath Bar Crunch Blizzards are my favorite Dairy Queen treat. I have no comment about how many spoonfuls of Blizzard and I may or may not eat. 🙂

Unfortunately, in the part of the UK where we live, summer is often spoiled by one Atlantic low after another, relentlessly dumping rain and winds on us. However, on those seemingly rare days when the sun shines from a clear sky, I love pulling on my boots and walking for miles across the moors behind our house before the rest of the world is awake. Perfect bliss followed by the first pot of coffee of the day!

Hi Tony – sounds like a wonderful way to spend a summer day. When my husband and I finally(!) get over to Europe, we plan to do a walking tour of the English country side.
