Montpelier VT – State Fair Sights and History

There was a lot more to the Rutland State Fair than cute cows and goats. Even the road there was an adventure. I just love riding around Vermont, everywhere you drive, you see rolling green hills. Hah, I guess that is why they call it the Green Mountain State.

There were lots of barns. This one was aptly named, “Pets and Poultry.”

Lots of history around this Fair. I just loved the displays of an old Maytag washing machine and the old farming tools.
