This is the home team, not the medical team. My medical team was awesome and I am very, very grateful to them. However, I am not one of those people who post selfies of themselves going into surgery or coming out of surgery.
After my knee replacement on June 1, I was supposed to get up and walk around the house every hour. Well, for the first few weeks, this was NOT fun, to put it mildly. It was agony getting off of the sofa and then moving. As you can see I was using a walker.
So I decided to make things a bit more fun. I put our beloved guys in the walker basket and walked around with them. I then put our beloved corgis in the basket and did the same thing.
They always bring a smile to my face and made my exercises go by more quickly. Go team!
What have you done to make recovery from surgery easier?
Go team!

aw, I am smiling to see the Corgis and to know that they brought a smile or two to you – keep on keeping on!
