Montpelier VT – Downtown Animal Scenes

I just love walking around new cities; there is always something unique and interesting to see. Montpelier did not disappoint. Given that Vermont is mostly rural, it was no surprise that there were a lot of fun animal sculptures and even live animals.

The pink polka dotted pig and the pink pig were certainly eye catching. Their purpose was to collect money for the hungry of Montpelier.

Of course there had to be a cow sculpture around somewhere! Meet Buddercup. She is fittingly right in front of the State Agriculture building.
