The zen of snow shoveling

So last Sunday and Monday we had a pretty big snowstorm. You can see the pictures on my blog from last week,

Well, the next day, the snow had stopped and the sun was shining. It was quite pretty seeing the snow on the trees.

I just had to get outside, so I decided to shovel our front walk way. Being outside in the sunshine and snow kind of reminded me of my skiing days. Although, skiing was a lot more fun.

We got about 2 feet of snow, so there was a LOT to shovel. When I first looked out the front door, I was a bit overwhelmed, but then I decided to take it one shovel of snow at a time.

Here I am, in the midst of my shoveling. As you can see the snow is almost as tall as I am. Which actually isn’t saying much since I am short. 🙂 What made this shoveling so challenging was that the area near the street had high snowbanks from the plows clearing the street.

How do you feel about snow and snow shoveling?
