Taking a fresh look at my surroundings

My hip has been bothering me, so I have had to drastically cut back on my walking. I still prevail a little bit though. I no longer take walking for granted and I savor every step. Even when I walk the same route, there is always something new and interesting to see. I thought I would share some of the sights with you.

We have a small lake in our town and one January morning, the mist was rising from it. How cool.

The town was getting ready for New Year’s Eve with some colored balls in front of our town hall.

I love to read, so I make frequent trips to the local library.  I am so, so happy that the library is open again, after being shut for several months because of Covid.

No day would be complete without my regular trips to Trader Joe’s.

Oops, I got so involved in taking pictures, that I hit the wrong button and took a picture of myself instead.
