Having something to look forward to

The news just keeps getting worse and worse. So I try to have something to look forward to every day. The latest is Season 4 of The Crown. As you can see, our “guys” like watching this show as well. Sir Oliver loves seeing his fellow Palace Guards; Sir Angus loves seeing his fellow Balmoral Guards; and Toby loves seeing his corgi cousins.

This season is as interesting as ever, although it is a bit sad, since it is about Princess Diana. In spite of her beautiful public persona, she was a sad and troubled soul. It really makes you stop and think. I always thought Princess Diana had it all, being a Princess, having a fairy tale wedding, having two beautiful sons. But you never know what goes on in someone else’s life.

Princess Diana is such an inspiration. I think she finally came into her own during the last few years of her life.
