The news just keeps getting more and more depressing. Between the election and the COVID, there doesn’t seem to be any good news.
So, this week, I thought I would focus on something to make you all smile. We all need to smile more these days.
As most of you know, Mr. Ken and I had a a fabulous trip to London, U.K. last year. We still miss it and hope we can get back there some day soon. To help with our longing, I ordered a new addition to our family. Meet Toby, the British corgi. In case you didn’t know, corgis are the “official” dog of the British Royal Family. And the name, “Toby,” is on the list of “Top Ten Names for Corgis.”
Note the official Buckingham Palace tag around Toby’s neck.
Note the classy Crown crest on the back of his jacket.
And last, but not least, note how he fits right in with Sir Oliver and Sir Angus.
We are all excited to start watching Season 4 of The Crown, which started November 15!

Oh my! Toby is too cute!
We are missing London too – we would have been there by now, visiting my Aunt & Uncle for an extended Christmas vacation.
Sigh. Never mind. There is always next year.

Not only does Toby look the part he plays in the ‘Buckingham Palace’ scheme of things, something in his eyes indicates playfulness and coming to terms with ‘What is’.
