It’s that time of year again and boy am I ready for it. It’s kayaking time! We store our kayaks (all 4 of them) in the basement over the winter. It is quite the production getting them up the bulk head and into the garage. Hah, it seems to get harder and harder each year. But all set now.
Our beloved friends, Sir Oliver and Sir Angus, are also excited to get out kayaking. They can’t decide whether to sit in the kayak or ride on top of it. I guess we’ll have to get some little life vests for them.
It seems like it will be a very gradual reopening of Massachusetts and the surrounding states, so it looks like Mr. Ken and I will be doing a lot of local kayaking. That is okay because once I’m out on the water, the world and its worries disappears.
What are you excited about this summer?

No way Nancy & Ken have their own kayaks! 😀 I bet you’re both excited to get back in. Sarah & i have tried kayaking and it just feels great to be out on the water. I’m getting excited for you both now! 😀

Hi Steve,
Yes, we each have our own kayaks. Actually we each have two kayaks. (Don’t ask, we went to a kayak show a few years ago and just couldn’t resist getting another set of kayaks.)

We hope that by August we’ll be able to get away somewhere in Puglia, in the south of Italy… To relax: nothing as adventurous as your kayaking 🙂

Boy, wait until they see all of those turtles! I hope they like Dairy Queen Blizzards!

Hi Ken,
I think they will especially enjoy the baby turtles, since they are just about their own size. And how could they not like DQ Blizzards. 🙂
