Montpelier VT – Art Scene

It is no surprise that Montpelier Vermont has a very active art scene. It is a quirky place and art fits right in.

This colorful mural was a ray of brightness, right next to some railroad tracks. Usually, the area around rail road tracks is not very pretty.

I wonder what the artist was thinking when they combined cupcake drawings with bees and their hive.

A lot of the buildings in Montpelier are old brick ones, and they are tailor made for mural painting. 🙂

Art is everywhere in Montpelier, even on the river! I came across this colorful sight on one of my walks. I’m sure there is an explanation for what these pretty flags represent.

This pretty stained glass piece was in a neighborhood right outside of downtown Montpelier. I was happy to see the explanation as well.
