Northampton Random Walking Scene

There is always something new and interesting to see when you walk. Northampton, in all of it’s quirkiness, doesn’t disappoint. Enjoy some of the interesting things I saw on my walks.

Every house I saw had fun little details. Here is the cornice of a beautifully restored Victorian.

I just love these “Free Little Library” boxes that are all over. People put in books for anyone to take. This one was especially fun since it was modeled after the house behind it.

A lot of houses have cool front porches. This one struck me with the pretty hanging decorations.

And it is not all about the houses. I came across a wild turkey too! Even though I am a nature lover, I don’t like wild turkeys. They are big, almost bigger than me, and they are mean. 🙂

Exercise can be a chore, but I really looked forward to my walks in Northampton because each day brought something new to see.
