The pinnacle of our trip – the Grand Canyon in all of its glory!
The views almost look like moon scapes to me.
If I had to pick a favorite view, this next one would be it. I just love all the color contrasts.
I love how there are so many different scenes as you look down at the Grand Canyon. Here is another one.
This view shows lots of red rocks, which is reminiscent of Sedona.
And last, but not least, another view of the glorious Grand Canyon.
I loved seeing the Grand Canyon so much, I would love to go back and see it again. It is so much to take in at once.

While traveling across country In 1973 my wife and I stopped at the Grand Canyon– but only briefly. Despite the heavy rain, what we saw was inspiring. Wish we could’ve hiked down then. Thanx for sharing your photos, which makes me think of some alien landscape.

Hi Art – thanks for stopping by. I, too, wished I could have hiked down the Grand Canyon. Supposedly there are some easier hikes to do so. But, alas, we only had a few hours to visit.

If you do visit the USA, the Grand Canyon is a must! We saw it while we were on a Road Scholar Tour. We flew to Arizona, we didn’t need a car since we were on buses for the tour.
