Sedona, Arizona – Hilton at Bell Rock

Posted on April 30, 2025

If you’ve been reading my latest blog posts, you know that we had a fabulous trip to Sedona Arizona. We went with Road Scholar. Road Scholar sure does things first class all the way. Not only were the outings we had very well organized and informative, the place where we stayed was very, very nice. We stayed at the Hilton Sedona at Bell Rock. It was truly a resort. My only regret is that our Road Scholar activities kept us so busy, we didn’t have a chance to take advantage of all the resort had to offer. They had a health club to die for, plus a luxurious spa.

The Hilton Sedona at Bell Rock is located in the Village of Oak Creek, which is outside of Sedona. This was nice because you don’t get the crowds you get when you stay in Sedona proper.

The rooms were huge! Our room was twice as big as my first apartment. There was a living room, complete with fireplace, a kitchenette and a spacious bedroom.

Here’s the living room:

Here’s the well-equipped kitchenette:

The bedrooms were nice and spacious too.

And, the best perk of all was the view from our room. This is a view of Bell Rock.

Bell Rock is one of several energy vortexes in Sedona. Bell Rock is part of the Schnebly Hill Formation, formed over millions of years by rising and falling sea levels that deposited sandstone and other sediments.

Bell Rock is considered a “masculine” vortex, meaning it’s thought to be a place where energy flows upwards, promoting qualities like self-confidence and assertiveness.

Our wonderful tour guide, Kyle, led a hike up Bell Rock during one of our free afternoons. But, we decided to spend the day in Sedona instead.

Have you ever stayed in Sedona? What was your experience like?
