A Room with a View

Or should I say an entire apartment with a view. Mr. Ken and I stayed in a lovely one bedroom apartment during our trip to Summit, New Jersey. The location was perfect since it was within walking distance to Summit Center. It was also in a quiet, pretty complex.

Here is one view from the window – a very pretty flowering tree. This picture doesn’t do it justice.

It’s a long story, but we had to go out and buy a new bathmat and some washcloths. Nothing like going to the Macy’s right before they close, to buy something. I was excited because the bathmat is purple. The washcloths are a pretty light green.

Whenever I travel, I love coming home with souvenirs but I never imagined that these would be my New Jersey souvenirs!

Or course we had to bring “our guys” with us. Here they are, just chillin’ on the sofa. That is Sir Oliver, Toby, Bernard and Sir Angus. They are all quite the travelers!
