Summit, New Jersey is a lovely town. Back in the late 80’s, I was living in New York City and wanted to move out, so I took the train to Summit to check out apartments. I fell in love with it at first sight. Summit reminded me of my hometown in Massachusetts. It really hasn’t changed much since we left, over 30 years ago.
Every morning, I went for a walk. Summit has sidewalks everywhere and lots to see! Here are some nice houses, or should I say mansions, that I saw along the way. It was a foggy morning, but the views still were nice.
Not only are the houses magnificent in Summit, but the schools are too! Here is the front of the junior high school. It looks like a castle to me. And it looks nothing like where I went to junior high. π
Spring comes earlier to New Jersey than it does to Massachusetts. Here is just one example of a pretty flowering bush I saw on my walk.
What have you seen on your adventures?
