So not much going on here. Mr. Ken hasn’t done anything goofy lately, so I can’t even write about his antics.
A few days ago, Mr. Ken announces that he needs to put on his work clothes. No, this isn’t a suit and tie, but old pants and an old shirt. He rushes upstairs and changes his clothes.
He then started muttering and disappears down to the basement. I hear a lot of banging going on down there. Mr. Ken emerges from the basement with his arms full of what looks to be spray cans. I am thinking to myself, “Has he lost it and will he start spray painting graffiti?”
He goes outside for a few hours. I hear more banging, but I am afraid to look to see what he is doing.
He comes back inside and triumphantly announces, “It is all fixed.” I’m happy, but I have no idea what he fixed. He then tells me he fixed the gashes in our aluminum siding where a rogue snowblower hit it.
I asked how he fixed it and he promptly replies, “I used body filler and vacuum paint.” Well, actually he didn’t say vacuum paint, but that is what I heard. 🙂
Here are the before and after pictures:

For those in the know, body filler is something (which is a mystery to me) that is used to repair dents in cars. I am fascinated by how Mr. Ken’s mind works since he figured out that this would work well for this project.
What projects have you been up to?

Thanks dear wife for this nice blog! I was happy the results of my efforts and it really didn’t take much time. I was stuck on how to fix the snow blower damage until I remembered the Bondo body filler that has been around for decades. They make some for projects like this around the home and it was just what I needed. If makes sense since the trim is aluminum – not much different than a dent on a car!

Hi Mr. Ken,
Yes, there is nothing like the old “Bondo body filler” to fix things. 🙂
