We are in February and the days are noticeably brighter. I just love sitting in our family room in the afternoon as the sun comes streaming through the windows. It is the perfect place for reading.
I also love having lots of pretty flowers around. Flowers in the dead of winter are especially nice. My mother-in-law and a few dear friends recently sent me flowers.
These pretty red amaryllis flowers are from my dear mother-in-law. These stunning blooms mean strength and determination. I was fascinated to watch these flowers grow and bloom. They were self-contained in the bulb and didn’t need any soil or water! And of course, our beloved Toby had to get in on the action too. 🙂
These pretty pink azaleas are a harbinger of spring, thanks once again to my dear mother-in-law. I just love how the pink container matches the pink flowers. And, of course our beloved Toby is in on the action.
My dear friend Lisa gave me this beautiful arrangement. It is hard to see but the vase is a square glass one and is quite unique.
And last, but not least, a beautiful arrangement from our financial advisor. We have been with his company for years and he and his staff are more like friends and family than business associates.
Do you have flowers in winter?
