More street scenes in Old Quebec

If you have read my other posts about our trip to Old Quebec, you know that I just love walking around a city. To me, it is the best way to get to know a city and its people.

There were so many interesting and unexpected sights in Old Quebec.

Fontaine de Torny

This beautiful fountain is right in front of the Parliament building. It was donated by the Simons family to commemorate the 400th Anniversary of City of Quebec.

If you look closely in the fountain, you see some cute surprises.

And how about an enormous pigeon in the park!

The houses in Old Quebec were interesting too. My favorite was the Maison Jacquet, built in 1675. It is now a restaurant.

These houses are on the outskirts of Old Quebec, close to Quebec, as you can see from the tall building behind them.

And yet another house.
