Can you tell that I loved our time in Northampton? We were only there for three nights, but there were so many interesting things to see.
We stayed at a lovely Airbnb, right outside of downtown Northampton. I loved walking around the residential neighborhood and seeing some unique sights.
This neighborhood, like a lot of Northampton, was filled with lovely Victorian homes. I just love the detail on these homes.
This fence really caught my eye. And I love the wrap around porch. I can see myself sitting on the porch, having a relaxing time and reading a good book.
Here is the same house, from a different angle.
Another lovely Victorian had these pretty glass balls hanging. And of course, the ubiquitous front porch.
People in Northampton love their gardens. I just had to take a picture of these gorgeous hydrangeas!
And even though Northampton is a city, you can still its farming roots. There are lots of old barns amongst the houses. I would love to know the story of this barn.
All these sights were within a block of where we were staying.
What interesting things have you seen in your neighborhood?

Charming neighbourhood! I can’t believe that’s a barn – I wonder if the owners converted it into accomodation.
One of the reasons we love airbnbs is that they take us into residential neighbourhoods which we would not explore otherwise.

Hi Ju-Lyn,
It is funny you should mention converting an old barn into accommodations. Right across the street from where we were staying was just that – an old barn, converted into a pretty cool dwelling.
