What happens when you are stuck at home for months on end

Posted on July 29, 2020

Two words – online shopping.

So normally, I am pretty disciplined when it comes to my online purchases. Well, except for exercise DVDs, but these don’t count since I consider them a necessity, up there with food and drink.

1. Feng Shui and Crystals.

Feng shui, for the uninitiated, is an ancient Chinese practice of using energy forces to harmonize individuals with their surroundings. Being stuck at home for four plus months, I spend a lot of time in my surroundings. So, in my perusal of the Internet, I came upon some very interesting websites selling crystals. Crystals are supposed to emit different energy wave lengths to do different things. For example, healing or harmony.

2. Odd food stuffs.

If you ask Mr. Ken, he will be the first to tell you that I have odd eating habits. According to him, anyone who regularly eats kale and oat bran is nuts. But wait, it gets better. I was so happy to find nutritional yeast at Amazon. This is a marvelous food to add to scrambled egg whites. Trust me, it tastes yummy. I did have a moment of panic when I went to order more and I see, “sold out, not sure when it will be back in stock.” Was there really a run on nutritional yeast? But, luckily, it was back in stock the next week.

3. House cleaning – NOT!

One thing that hasn’t been on my list is house cleaning. One would think that spending all this time inside the house, one might be inspired to clean it, or at least clean out the cluttered papers. But, somehow that hasn’t happened yet. I figure I can just put a pretty crystal in each room and that will take care of everything.

So what happened to you being stuck in the house?
