Sometimes you just have to take matters into your own hands. Enough of being nice and following the rules.
It was simple enough. If there is no mailbox for mail, mail can’t be delivered, right? So as not to unduly confuse the postman, I posted this sign in the same spot where the mailbox used to be.
As an afterthought, I added the word, “please.” There was no need to make the postman angry. After all, who knows what he would do with the mail then?
And so far, so good. There has been no mail delivered to Mom’s house. And I am slooooowwwly getting mail forwarded to my house.
For those new readers wondering what the heck I am talking about, see my previous post, Surreal customer service.

Hi dear Nancy π
I really do hope that this idea of yours is working, if not I have a plan B. Lay a trail of donuts from your mum’s house to your home. The mail man is bound to take the bait ….. umm …. perhaps not, as Mr Ken will find his way to your mum’s house π β€

Dear friend Ralph,
A man after my own heart! I always say it’s good to have a Plan B. And a Plan B with donuts, even better! π

Do you know who follows the rules? People who vote
Do you know who does not? The people you vote for. No rules! Just get it done and you did.
