So I live in New England. So we get snow in New England. Last year we broke a record for snowfall; we got something like 108 inches total. There was a blizzard warning for this past weekend and let’s just say us New Englanders were having deja vu about snow.
Well, instead of this:
We got this:
Just enough snow to make it look pretty. For those eagle eyed-folks out there. The blizzard pictures were taken at my Mom’s house. The latest snow pictures were taken at my house.
Even better, by Tuesday, it was 47 degrees and the snow was melting.
So that’s it for this week. I usually get inspiration for my blog posts when I am out and about. I have my dear friend Susan to thank for the idea behind today’s post.
For my blogging friends, where do you get inspiration for your blogs?

So far this has been a much gentler winter and I would agree that the snow we’ve received has been just enough to be pretty, especially on beautiful, sunny days. Who knows, maybe the chipmunks will come out earlier this year! 🙂

Hi Mr. Ken,
Yes, that would be just great if our chipmunks came out earlier this year!

Hi Rinaldo,
Thanks for your comment. I amazed myself with the pictures. Usually, my pictures are of the sky or my foot. 🙂
I bet you don’t have snow in Venice. 🙂

not much snow in Australia. My children have only seen snow on Christmas cards and TV. In answer to your question I mainly just write about clarinet stuff in my blogs

Hi,
Thanks for your comment. Snow is something you have to see it to believe it, I think.

To be frank, I have never seen snow in my life. Kenya is all dry and wet, no season goes beyond that

Hi,
Wow – I can’t imagine living in a place that doesn’t get snow. As much as I like to complain about snow, I would miss it if I didn’t see at least a little bit every year.

I get my best (I think) inspiration from things that have made me smile, as I’ve discovered writing comes more naturally when I can add a twist of humour. But it can be quite haphazard, and yukky moods can also bring on half-decent posts if I look for the silver lining 🙂

Hi Bea,
I love how you get your inspiration! And I love your attitude about how to handle yucky moods. Thanks for brightening my day. 🙂

No snow here Nancy. Lots of sun and foggy nights from the river and wood burning fires in homes throughout the village. 😀 ❤

Love your snow photos. We get hardly any over here so it’s a novelty even to see pics!
As for inspiration, I’s say Mother Nature!

I am glad you dodged the bullet as they say! A person can deal with this amount. My inspiration comes from family and travels.
