I have shared with you what my typical day is like, What is your perfect day? Now I thought I would share what my dear husband’s day is like.
6:00 AM — Wake up and go for a walk.
Now dear Mr. Ken is not really a morning person, so this was quite a surprise to see him up and about so early. He is quite the fashion plate, with his white ankle sox, old man shorts and hat. Note the cool purple t-shirt, a souvenir from our recent WordCamp Boston event.
7:30 am — Eat a healthy breakfast of oatmeal and yogurt.
Even though donuts are Mr. Ken’s favorite food, he is very proud of the fact that he eats oatmeal for breakfast.
8:30 am — Phone call with his twin brother.
Even though they are identical twins, Mr. Ken says he does not have any sort of twin ESP with his twin. Weren’t they just the cutest kids? Not even his mother can remember which twin is which in this picture.
9:30 am — Do Tai Chi exercises.
Mr. Ken did NOT want me taking a picture of him doing Tai Chi. I can totally understand that since I have threatened him with grave bodily harm if he ever even just brought a camera into my salon while I was exercising.
Rest of morning — Spend time on computer.
Now dear Mr. Ken is a full-fledged geek, so of course he will spend lots of time on the computer. I’m not quite sure exactly what he does, but I suspect he spends his time looking at other computers and other techie stuff.
12:00 noon – Time for lunch!
Mr. Ken’s new thing is twinkie bombs. Well, technically they are generic twinkies, but I like to call them twinkie bombs. I tried reading the ingredient list to him in the hopes that he would be so put off by all the artificial ingredients that he wouldn’t eat them anymore, but no such luck. I wanted to have a picture of him eating this concoction, but he ate all of the twinkie bombs before I had a chance to take a picture.
Afternoon
It’s time to wash the car, a daily activity. Mr. Ken sure loves his car!
Evening
After such a busy day, Mr. Ken is ready for sleep! He tends to fall asleep on the sofa around 8 pm.
I would love to know what your typical day is like.

Hi LMA,
I just love the twin pictures. They were really identical when they were young and so cute.

Hi Abe,
I am so glad you liked the twin photo. This is one of many cute photos! Many I should do an entire post devoted to the twins. π

Hey Professor,
Yes, it sure does! In fact, I like the way he spends his day better than how I spend mine. π

I might add that Ring Dings are an acceptable substitute when Twinkies are not available! I hope that I’m not hounded by the paparazzi after this! π

Hello Mr. Ken,
Mmm, I don’t know about the Ring Dings. The diet police may be after you for that. π

Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for your comment. When I broached the subject of making Mr. Ken a subject of a blog post, he was all excited. Who would have thought?
And, to tell you the truth, Mr. Ken’s favorite breakfast is a donut or a muffin. π

Hello Nancy π My ! You do give Mr Ken a hard time ! Slaving away all day. How unbearable ! π BTW Did you notice the change of shirt between his walk and breakfast. I reckon he swapped places with his twin brother. π Ralph xox β€

Dear friend Ralph,
Yes, that was a quick change, wasn’t it? I was already to take his picture with the oatmeal, when he bolted and ran upstairs to change his shirt. π
Although, it was possible he changed places with his twin. . .
Your pal,
Nancy
